Job summary

Titan RX in Omaha, NE is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with sterile and non-sterile compounding, checking accuracy and compliance under USP 795, 797 and 800 guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds Nebraska CPhT certification, has 1–2 years of compounding experience, and excels in a regulated, fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and precise recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nebraska CPhT certification required.
• 1–2 years of compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797 and 800 standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with standard pharmacy software and inventory systems.
• Commitment to confidentiality and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and compound non-sterile and sterile medications following USP 795, 797 and 800 standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant compounding environment with proper gowning, labeling, and documentation.
• Support prescription processing: input, labeling, and recordkeeping per regulations.
• Monitor inventory of compounding ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering and restocking.
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory protocols to protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compounding records and master formulation records for each batch.
• Operate compounding equipment and ensure aseptic technique in cleanroom environments.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
