Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking a Compounding Technician for the B1 shift (6am–6:30pm, Thursday/Friday/Saturday and every other Wednesday). You will perform cGMP manufacturing tasks, assist engineers in setup and calibration, and participate in rework and quality testing of parts and materials.

The role uses systems such as LIMS and SAP to collect data and guide on-line adjustments, supporting method development for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science with 2+ years relevant experience, or BS with 1+ years relevant experience, or BS in Engineering with 0+ year relevant experience.
• Applies acquired job skills and company policies to complete tasks.
• Follows established procedures on routine work, with occasional deviations.

This is our Compounding B1 Shift:6am-6:30pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday & every other Wednesday
Performs functions associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within the biologics production facility, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components and final materials. Uses sophisticated programs (such as LIMS, SAP, automated control systems, etc.) to collect and evaluate operating data, which can be used to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
