Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to dispense chemicals and prepare bulk products in accordance with SOPs and batch records, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Essential Functions

  • Weigh and measure materials accurately.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes.
  • Train and assist less experienced team members.
  • Follow batch record instructions precisely.
  • Monitor equipment for abnormalities and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Operate basic equipment safely.
  • Collect samples for laboratory testing.
  • Clean and maintain compounding equipment and work areas.
  • Manage waste water and disposal procedures.
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Read and interpret batch requirements.
  • Adhere to safety, GMP, and Lean 5S policies and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: One year of manufacturing experience.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in math and computer skills.
  • Qualified to wear a respirator.
  • Flexible to work weekends and overtime.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
  • Team-oriented and good communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
