General Formulations is seeking a Level 1 Mixer to operate in the mixing room under supervision. You will stage materials, set up equipment, and learn adhesive mixing and vinyl compounding.

Candidates should have basic math and computer skills, print pick lists, issue and close jobs in the tracking system, and print labels for finished materials. You must keep the work area clean and organized, follow written and oral directions, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or GED; manufacturing background preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and also alone.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Detail oriented with thorough task completion and safety awareness.

Aufgaben

• Operate pallet jacks, standup and sit-down forklifts safely in production.
• Read job travelers and pick lists; follow FIFO and transport materials.
• Set up, mix/compound, and clean equipment in mixing room and related areas.
• Print pick lists, print labels for finished materials, and manage basic shop-floor transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to 5S principles.
• Work on off shifts under supervision and learn adhesive mixing and vinyl compounding.
