Job description

Description

Compounders ensure batches are pre-weighed and make batches on time to meet production needs. They communicate with Planning, Production, and Scheduling regarding any delays or shortages of batches.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure batches are produced in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Schedule and staff Pre-weigh and Chemical Picking to achieve the production schedule.
  • Track all batch records.
  • Complete inventory movements accurately and timely, including chemical issuance.
  • Support pre-weighers and produce batches/coloured batches as needed.
  • Attend required Health and Safety, confined space entry, and workplace accident investigation courses.
  • Collaborate with R&D on batching procedure changes and update master documents accordingly.
  • Work with maintenance to repair defective equipment.
  • Identify root causes of non-conforming batches and implement corrective actions with proper documentation.
  • Provide feedback and action plans for batches that cannot be completed as scheduled.
  • Monitor bulk raw material levels and coordinate delivery adjustments to meet production needs.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt to evolving policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and organization.
  • Understand manufacturing processes, production flow, and safety protocols.
  • Apply GMP and SOP knowledge practically.
  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in basic PC functions and software.
  • Strong foundational math skills.
  • Work collaboratively while adhering to safety and company standards.
