Apache Mills, Inc. is hiring for a Compounding 1st Shift in Calhoun, GA. The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety, quality, and attendance.

Responsibilities include mixing compounds, setting up equipment, and assisting with inventory while rotating positions as needed. Drug and background screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attitude of safety and quality as top priorities.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform duties in variable weather.
• Pass drug and background screenings.

• Mix compounds in accordance with standard batch formulations.
• Set up equipment to ensure accuracy of batch formulations and quantities.
• Assist inventory control to ensure availability of raw materials and chemicals.
• Work safely around moving equipment and machinery.
• Inspect products for first quality.
• Lift regularly up to 50 lbs.
• Rotate to other positions as business needs require.

COMPOUNDER 1ST SHIFT

Regular FullTime Calhoun, GA, US

Salary Range: $16.50 To $17.50 Hourly

Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, is “Moving Forward” as it continues to grow its manufacturing operations. We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Manufacturing Team. We have openings on 1st Shift in our Compounding department.

The position requires (this is not a complete job description):

• meeting or exceeding company quality standards
• maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• complying with company processes and procedures
• following verbal and written instructions
• standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders and reaching while handling material or products
• working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• performing job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
• successfully completing drug and background screenings

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
