Job summary

Job Summary

Hourly Rate: $27.47 per hour
Overnight Shift Differential: $1.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Accurately formulate all production lots.
• Set up, load, operate and monitor all mixing machine equipment for product formulations.
• Weigh and mix exact amounts of chemicals according to specific formulas while verifying product output from mixing equipment operations.
• Calibrate and monitor all formulation-related equipment (e.g., scales, meters).
• Adjust pH of product for in‑process testing before releasing to production lines.
• Adjust oxygen levels of oxygen‑sensitive product before releasing to production.
• Support the formulation of batches using both volumetric and gravimetric processes based on batch records.
• Clean and sanitize all tanks, equipment and chemical containers in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Fill out forms for recording production volumes and comply with GDP standards.
• Assume other duties within the compounding department to support the production schedule.

Job Requirements

• Strict adherence to safety requirements, SOPs, cGMPs, batch records and controlling documentation.
• Understanding and compliance with safe work practices to prevent injury and equipment damage.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials, including antineoplastic products.
• Strong communication skills to report and correct issues quickly to maintain product quality and personnel safety.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in respirators (half‑mask and full forced air breathing apparatus) and clean room environments with required gowning.
• Handle hazardous materials with strict adherence to outlined procedures.
• Lift weights in excess of 75 lbs, move 55‑gal drums, and assemble/disassemble large equipment and tanks.
• Maintain 100% mental focus and alertness throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with up to three individuals; direct supervision less than 30%.

Primary business language is English. Candidates must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to perform essential functions, including understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
