About

VIZOR is a material coating technology company with offices in NYC and NJ. The company has created a suite of active ingredients and specialty raw materials that go into various consumer goods. The team is comprised of some of the leading technical minds in personal care with over 50 years of combined experience in the industry.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials following detailed production formulas and instructions.
  2. Monitor the compounding process to ensure product consistency, performing quality checks and making necessary adjustments.
  3. Understand process flow charts and recognize discrepancies and issues.
  4. Safely operate and maintain compounding equipment such as mixers, kettles, and pumps, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  5. Clean and sanitize equipment before and after manufacturing.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely records of batch production, including formulations, adjustments, and test results.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  1. Completed a high school diploma or associate's degree.
  2. 2-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  3. A willingness to learn new information quickly, with high attention to detail.
  4. Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written.
  5. Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  6. Managing processes.
  7. Supply management and inventory control.
  8. Collaborative, organized, self-starter, coachable, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Depending on experience, our pay range is between $45k-$55k.
  2. Annual bonus (up to 10% of salary).
  3. 401 K.
  4. Annual raises based on performance.
  5. Early Fridays.
  6. Company paid holiday between Christmas and New Year.
  7. Medical and Dental coverage.
  8. Company paid Health Savings Account (HSA) of $2,600/year.
