Nexus Brands Group is seeking a hardworking Compounder to join our production team in Corona, CA. You will compound chemicals, operate large mixing kettles, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role is non-exempt and pays $23–$25 per hour, based on experience. Shift schedule is Mon.-Fri. mornings with possible overtime.

Formación

• Experience with forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Experience making shampoos and conditioners is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review batch specifications and gather raw chemicals.
• Identify over 200 chemical names and abbreviations.
• Wash and prep empty drums for refill.
• Clean batching kettles between product batches.
• Safely lift and maneuver drums with dollies and pallet jacks.
• Follow safety regulations and PPE guidelines.
• Report safety hazards and equipment issues to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support production goals and company values.

We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented, self-starter to add to our production team.

Position Overview

Compounders, compound chemicals by following specific formulations to create finished products for bottling & packaging. They operate and maintain compounding equipment such as large mixing kettles and work with other team members to meet weekly production goals.

This role is a non-exempt role and pays $23-$25 depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Review batch specifications for finished products and identify, gather and weigh all necessary raw chemicals required to make various products.
• Accurately identify over 200 different chemical names and their respective abbreviations.
• Properly wash empty drums, as needed to prep for re-fill.
• Perform clean up duties following each batch process.
• Clean batching kettles in between product batches.
• Safely lift and maneuver drums at full capacity using dollies and pallet jacks.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to your supervisor immediately.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to your supervisor.
• Ensure equipment is always operated safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Company’s values.

Is this role for you?

Job Environment, Requirements & Schedule

• Environment: This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where there is exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

Training Schedule:

• Mon.-Fri. 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Some overtime hours may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
