This is a full-time on-site process integration development engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating processes in a semiconductor wafer research facility to make novel devices. The person will ensure that experiments are implemented according to plan and that data are accurately collected and analyzed. They will participate in interpreting data to determine next steps towards a process that delivers the required device performance, process efficiency, and process yield, and potential transfer of process to partners. The process engineer has substantial day-to-day responsibilities in the process development fabrication facility. They are responsible for developing process integration flows, defining unit process requirements for module engineering, and working closely with multi-functional team members to deliver these novel device configurations. They will maintain split charts, wafer process traceability, and partner with a multi-functional team to interpret the data. The process engineer will be required to work with technicians, operators, and other process engineers every day, and will be required to work with multi-functional development teams with engineers in wafer fab, device testing, and product engineering roles.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
