Job summary

L&L Products is seeking a Process Engineer (Compounding) in Michigan to own safety, quality, productivity and the expansion of compounding areas. You will drive process launches, support product development, and coordinate with R&D, PD, and quality teams to ensure robust processes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a technical field such as Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Polymers or Industrial engineering.
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience.
• Project management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of materials, mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe storage, handling, processing and disposition of materials and equipment in compounding areas.
• Collaborate with R&D, PD and Diversification on product/process development and trials.
• Prepare process flow maps and PFMEAs; coordinate with quality to transfer into control plans and floor paperwork.
• Lead processing equipment evaluations, trials and capital expenditures following CLP processes.
• Interface with production, quality and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and reduce material quality and process failures; drive continuous improvement.
