Prysmian Group in Taunton, MA is seeking a safety-focused Compound Mixing Crew Member Associate for our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate production equipment and manage end-to-end compound mixing, weighing raw materials, batching, and documentation to ensure quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and a mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus.
Experience (Preferred): Manufacturing, chemical blending, mixing, extrusion, rubber/plastics, or wire & cable.
Experience with forklifts or SAP systems is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment including manual mixers, batching systems, extruders, and material handling equipment.
Weigh, prepare, and blend raw materials according to precise formulas and schedules.
Monitor production runs and inspect finished products for quality compliance.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
Keep accurate production logs and complete required digital inventory and transactions.
