What to expect: This is an ongoing position for a Composites Quality Inspector. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule. Additionally, you will also be added to SQA's database as part of an elite group eligible for additional projects in the future. We are looking for a Quality Inspector to perform inspections on various sizing mechanical parts and composites with a wildly renown aerospace company. This position involves travel between two or more suppliers in the greater Los Angeles CA area. Travel reimbursement in the form of mileage and Portal to Portal will be provided, as well as lodging if needed. This is a a never ending, ongoing position, full-time guaranteed. Following the completion of this position, you will be added to the SQA database and get first priority for similar positions in your area moving forward.
What you will be doing: You will be conducting precise composite inspections at various client-supplier sites primarily in Los Angeles, CA, and surrounding areas. In-process and final source inspection of composite and mechanical parts. Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
