Job summary

Polygon is seeking a Medical Utility Operator to support the manufacturing of composite tubes for medical applications. You will operate and maintain equipment, manage materials, and perform cleaning and maintenance per medical quality standards.

You will follow detailed work instructions, keep accurate records, and collaborate with team members to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, while contributing to safety and 5S practices on each shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or medical production preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor composite manufacturing equipment such as chamfer, grinder, pad printing, and painting.
• Prepare and label materials and packaging per traveler and lot control docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Complete logs, labels, and data entries for product traceability and process control.
• Inspect components for visual defects and escalate issues to leads or QA.
• Assist with inventory counts, Kanban restocking, and keeping the workspace organized.
• Perform 5S housekeeping and clean equipment, workstations, and production areas.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety rules, PPE usage, and chemical handling.
• Monitor KPIs like output, quality, efficiency, and safety; seek continuous improvement.
