Composite Factory in Mooresville, NC is hiring a Composite Mold Reconditioning Technician to finish innovative composite parts. You will join a team dedicated to producing high quality components and adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

The role requires manual labor in a manufacturing environment, with responsibilities spanning tool prep, reconditioning, and adherence to SOPs. Candidates must meet health and safety requirements and be eligible for ITAR-compliant work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass respirator fit testing and adhere to OSHA requirements.
• Must wear tight-fitting respirator for duration of shift.
• Must read and interpret operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and drawings.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manually prep and recondition tools and fixtures to highest quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and best practices at all times.
• Prepare tool substrates by filling or sanding to surface specifications.
• Provide TP&R Lead updates on tool status and progress.
• Communicate issues outside the scope of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and workplace policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
