Qualifications

• Experience in composites manufacturing environment required.
• Hands-on fabrication and finishing work in a shop setting.
• Ability to read and execute instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand lay-up laminating and related processes.
• Execute vacuum bagging, resin infusion, and gel coat repair as directed.
• Sand, fair, buff, and finish parts to spec; prep for painting if required.

Job Description: Composite Technician

The successful applicant should have basic work skills in a composites manufacturing environment, with experience in several of the following skill-sets;

• hand lay-up laminating with polyester, vinylester, and epoxy resins
• Vacuum bagging and resin infusion
• Patching and repairing gel coat
• Sanding and fairing
• Buffing and polishing
• Prep and painting (spraying experience a plus, not required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Hand tools proficiency
• Execute verbal and written instructions
• Reliable, motivated team player
