Conduct training for line operators on proper operation of equipment and maintenance of tooling. Perform advanced/computer aided manufacturing processes for tooling.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist operations with troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime, decrease scrap, and improve quality of product.Perform programming and advanced machining tasksAssist engineering, maintenance, and operations with projects as needed.Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.Provide recommendations and own implementation for process and/or tooling improvements with guidance from Technician III and engineering.Proactively identify potential sources of downtime, scrap or quality issues and provide recommendations for preventative action.Participate in preventative maintenance activities and escalate issues to maintenance and engineering.Train line operators and mentor Tech I when appropriate.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Two-year technical degree with 2+ years of experience in equivalent field; OR High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in equivalent field.General tool and die training (i.e. machining, polishing, welding)Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Basic CAD, Vantage Point, spreadsheets) Advanced CAM programming skills/experienceStrong communication and conflict management skillsExperience and aptitude for work in a technical fieldPAY RANGE:$27.80 - $40.30CULTURE AND BENEFITS:At Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
