Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on switcher and local locomotives. Must be able to perform duties while adhering to company safety standards and all applicable local, state and federal rules regarding locomotives maintenance and repair.
Assists other associates and completes special assignments as needed.
M i nimum education, job experience, certifications, skills, knowledge and abilities that incumbent must typically have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Assumes responsibility for the timely and effective performance of maintenance procedures.
Work is typically performed under good working conditions; while exposure to any environmental elements may occur, such exposure is generally not present to the extent of being disagreeable.
