Job summary

Insight Global is seeking experienced Structures Mechanics / Composite Technicians to join a growing aviation repair organization in Cedar Hill, Texas. The role focuses on performing structural and composite repairs on aircraft components and assemblies in a Part 145 repair station environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with composite repairs, damage removal, inspections, fabrication, and restoration in a maintenance setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience performing aircraft structures or composite repairs.
• Experience working in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Experience performing composite structural repairs, inspections, damage removal, and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite and structural repairs on aircraft components and assemblies.
• Conduct technician-level inspections to identify damage and required repairs.
• Remove damaged material and prepare repair areas for restoration.
• Perform composite layups, bonding, trimming, sanding, and finishing operations.
• Complete sheet metal fabrication and structural repair activities as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with FAA and company quality standards.
• Accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
