Qualifications

• We require hands-on experience in product design, structural analysis, manufacturing tech, and testing.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA and FEA.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, plastics, casting processes, and material selection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products using 2D drawings and 3D SolidWorks modeling.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, and FEA methodologies.
• Support product design and manufacturing technology activities.
• Design for sheet metal fabrication, plastic molding, casting, and related processes.
• Select metal and polymer materials based on requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and FEA modeling.
• Build test samples and operate test equipment.
• Develop test procedures and conduct functional testing.
• Analyze test results and relate to performance.
• Investigate failure modes and quantify margins to failure.
• Support problem-solving and product improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Value Engineering (VAVE) and cost-reduction activities.
• Manage projects from concept through completion with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 10% overnight as required.
