Job summary

CSP is seeking a Full-time Production Operator in North Carolina. You will support daily manufacturing activities, operate equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role requires teamwork, quick pace, and attention to procedures in a high-volume environment.

You will work on the shop floor, participate in cross-functional tasks, and report safety issues while adhering to ISO/TS style quality practices and production targets.

• Perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.
• Report safety hazards associated with equipment to Shift Supervisor/Shift Leader.
• Perform process checks of equipment at shift start and throughout the day as deemed necessary.
• Communicate with the relieving shift and notify of any unusual events/problems experienced that day.
• Complete production tickets accurately and take full responsibility for same.
• Notify Shift Supervisor/Team Leader of problems outside his/her realm of expertise.
• Perform housekeeping duties and keep area neat and clean.
• Assist Engineering Department with developmental work when needed.
• Maintain high production levels and rotate duties; stop only when necessary.
• Inspect parts to ensure operations were completed satisfactorily.
• Work overtime if necessary.
• Rotation with press operation may be required.
• Cross train on all Production Operator jobs.
• Other tasks as assigned by Shift Supervisor/Leader.
• Comply with IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 requirements and prevent recurring non-conformances.
