Review blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Prepare welding equipment and check tools for efficient performance. Throughout the day, you will use various welding techniques, frequently inspect your work to ensure it meets quality standards, and complete welding tasks assigned to you. Safety is a constant priority, so you must follow strict protocols to prevent incidents.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Fabrication and Assembly: Use various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) to fabricate and assemble structures, components, and products according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Identify and repair defects or inconsistencies to ensure final products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Support the Repair business by performing repairs on metal parts and equipment, including fixing cracks, reinforcing weak points, and replacing worn-out parts.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing PPE, maintaining a clean work environment, and following welding procedures (WPSs).
What You Bring
  • 2+ years experience in welding, specializing in TIG, MIG, and plasma techniques.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Material Knowledge: Familiarity with different metals and alloys and their properties.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and OSHA standards.
  • Understanding emergency stop valves to enhance safety and emergency response.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa.
