Prerequisites

• Demonstrate proficiency in septum core replacement, lay‑up techniques, and taper sanding.
• Ideally, candidates possess five or more years of background in composite repair.
• Applicants will undergo a skills assessment covering these core competencies during the onboarding phase.
• The hiring process includes an initial telephone screening.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and structural repairs on Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircraft within an FAA‑certified facility, strictly adhering to manufacturer and airline technical manuals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality fiberglass, acrylic, and composite components by following established engineering drawings and quality protocols.
• Support the team by managing multiple machines and tasks simultaneously to improve overall operational efficiency.
• Apply specialized knowledge of bonding techniques and non‑metallic material properties to fabricate, rework, and repair complex aircraft assemblies.
• Ensure all repairs align with engineering intent by utilizing digital work instructions, model‑based definitions, and Material Review Board dispositions.
• Utilize mechanical and electronic precision instruments to verify part dimensions, occasionally conducting first‑article inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Help maintain high engineering standards by validating and capturing measurement data to meet top‑level project requirements.
• Uphold all necessary personal certifications while performing thorough inspections, including initial reviews of fabricated or procured assemblies.
• Document and initiate reports for any non‑conforming materials to facilitate Material Review Board oversight.
