Atlas Fibre in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Composite Materials Logistics Specialist to manage warehousing and material handling. You will oversee inbound/outbound movement, coordinate with production, and ensure accurate inventory while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

The role involves forklift operation, daily material replenishment, and collaboration with carriers to ship parts for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or material handling.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Detail-focused, organized, and dependable with strong attendance.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw stock and completed parts safely and efficiently between warehouse, receiving, and production areas.
• Replenish materials to production departments based on daily work orders and priorities.
• Load and unload trucks; verify counts and condition, and upscale discrepancies or damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment with strict adherence to safety practices.
• Support shipping, receiving, labeling, and orderly storage of inventory.
• Maintain organized, clean, and hazard-free aisles and work zones.
• Assist with cycle counts and broader inventory control activities.
• Follow all company safety standards and workplace policies.
