ROLE

Ready to help shape the future of materials? We're looking for a bold, talented and collaborative Composite Manufacturing Technician to accelerate our product development. You'll join a fast‑moving, interdisciplinary team of five exceptional scientists and engineers, working at the forefront of innovation to bring Gencores breakthrough material to the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in composite manufacturing at Gencores with Gencores novel materials (e.g., mold prep, resin infusion, foam manufacturing, curing, cutting, etc.)
  • Prepare molds, tools, and layup materials
  • Mix and handle reactive resin and foam systems safely
  • Execute production and test runs and document process parameters
  • Conduct mechanical testing and quality checks on parts
  • Assist with R&D and process optimization projects
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and lab documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in composite fabrication, aerospace manufacturing, or related hands‑on technical work
  • Experience with prepreg, VARTM, RTM, or compression molding
  • Familiarity with resin systems (epoxy, polyurethane, etc.) and composite layup techniques
  • Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain detailed records
  • Comfortable working in a lab/shop environment with chemicals and machinery
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and eagerness to learn
  • Experience with CNC, machining, or 3D printing skills are a plus
