Axillon Aerospace is seeking a Composite Technician to perform functions related to fabricating and assembling components with precision tools and techniques. The ideal candidate should have at least a High School Diploma and 2-4 years of experience in the aerospace or related manufacturing industries.
The role involves using hand tools and machinery, preparing materials, and ensuring quality through structural testing. A commitment to safety and precision is essential in this full-time position.
With minimum supervision, perform functions related to fabricating, assembling and performing composite layup by applying knowledge of working characteristics of bonding techniques utilizing precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment. Must be available to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
Requires a High School Diploma. Prefer a High School Diploma with additional coursework in a related field. 2-4 years experience working as a Composite Technician, Assembler or Machinist in the Aerospace, Auto or Boat Manufacturing industry preferred. Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. Good mechanical skills.
Requires a U.S. Person: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
