Job summary

Spencer Composites Corporation (SCC) in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Machinist - Composite Manufacturing to join our team. This role focuses on CNC machining and programming, with a strong emphasis on interpreting technical drawings and maintaining precision.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CNC experience, proficiency reading blueprints, and familiarity with composite machining. Collaboration with engineers and production staff is essential to meet project goals and ensure equipment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Experience in composite machining is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce components.
Set up and calibrate CNC equipment for precision and efficiency.
Inspect machined components during and after production to ensure quality standards.
Analyze machining processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with machinists, engineers, and production staff to meet goals and train new members.
