Job summary

RTX is seeking a Composite Builder for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) onsite. Responsibilities include assembly, curing, and finishing of composite parts, with emphasis on teamwork and adherence to manufacturing instructions. The role involves reading specifications, maintaining traceability, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; in absence, 2 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange parts on carts for autoclaves.
• Monitor and record cure data.
• Clean tools after curing.
• Monitor autoclave operations and gauges.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Cut materials for work orders.
• Record gauge readings and shift production.
• Transport materials and products between areas.
• Maintain part traceability in timekeeping/ERP systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and machines.
• Complete all required safety training and documentation.
