Job summary

Seasats is shaping the next generation of unmanned surface vessels. We seek a Composite Fabricator to build structural assemblies, bond hulls and decks, and ensure quality through precise workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools is required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Bond composite hulls, decks, bulkheads, and structural components using epoxy and adhesives.
• Prepare bonding surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and surface prep.
• Install bonded inserts, brackets, mounting plates, and threaded inserts.
• Read engineering drawings and work orders to build assemblies accurately.
• Use fixtures and jigs to ensure alignment and repeatability.
• Trim, drill, fit, and finish composite parts to meet design specs.
• Inspect bonded assemblies for quality, fit, and workmanship.
