SUMMARY: The Lead Mechanic oversees the maintenance tasks in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Ensures timely completion of tasks and provides training and mentorship for an assigned function area. Assists with Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities for short periods of time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
Duties shall include observing all company, health, safety, and environmental rules, ensuring provision of full information on area-specific safety orientation, identifying all unique hazards, and being provided with the proper equipment to carry out the job in a safe manner. The entire work area must be routinely inspected to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and low incidence of physical hazards, and all accidents must be promptly reported.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using proper lifting protocols.
COMPENSATION:
The base salary for this position is $30.00 - $44.50 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for a quarterly corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
