Job summary

Truss Craft of Wyoming is seeking a Component Sales Representative to professionally represent our company and develop relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors. You will promote and sell manufactured building components including roof, floor, and wall panels.

The role emphasizes knowledge of wall panels and trusses, maintaining relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to meet project requirements and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
• Five or more years of truss sales, truss design, or related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trusses, component manufacturing, and framing practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, structural plans, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service standards.
• Develop relationships with contractors, builders, subcontractors, customers, vendors, and branches to grow sales.
• Review plans and specifications with contractors to identify conflicts or clarifications.
• Prepare quotes, estimates, and follow up on sales opportunities and projects.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure orders meet requirements and are delivered on time.
