Insight Global is seeking a Components Package Engineer for a major consumer manufacturing client in Summit, NJ. The role is onsite at least 2 days per week and focuses on design, development, testing and scale-up of new package development.

You will collaborate with R&D, marketing, market research, supply chain, and process excellence to identify packaging needs and generate package development documentation such as specifications, development plans, protocols and reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Sciences or Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience writing protocols.
• Able to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week in Summit, NJ for the entirety of the W2 contract assignment.
• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or H4/GC EAD Visa holder able to work on Insight Global's W2 without subcontracting.

Responsabilidades

Our Large Consumer Manufacturing Client is seeking a Component Package Engineer to join their team in Summit, NJ. This individual will be expected to be onsite a minimum of 2 days a week. The Packaging Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the area of design, development, testing and production scale-up of new package development while collaborating with research and development, marketing, market research, supply chain, process excellence, and other affiliated departments to identify and address packaging needs. They will be develop, write, gain cross-functional alignment, and route for approval package development documentation that captures the above end-to-end project specific information. Some examples of documentations would include Package Component Specifications, Package Development Assessment and Plan documents, Packaging Line Trial Protocols and Reports, Package Development Reports, etc. They will lead the development and assessment of the following types of information to support package development and life cycle management initiatives, including but not limited to the following activities: design requirements, definition of the scope of change, packaging and equipment solution proposals, prior knowledge and knowledge gap assessments, risk assessments, test plans, and test results analysis and conclusions.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Sciences or Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience writing protocols.
• Able to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week in Summit, NJ for the entirety of the W2 contract assignment.
• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or H4/GC EAD Visa holder able to work directly on Insight Global's W2 without subcontracting, C2C, or 1099 agreement.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience within the Consumer, OTC, or Pharmaceutical industry.
• GMP Experience.
• Technical knowledge related to package materials, equipment, testing, and package development.

COMPENSATION

$35-45/hr on W2. Intended to be a multi-year W2 contract starting at 12 months. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave as determined under the applicable law of the worksite location.
