  • Work with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, quantity discrepancies, or release questions.
  • Follow up with suppliers and carriers, including “hot” shipments and ETA tracking (including after hours).
  • Track and document supplier performance related to release accuracy and delivery.
  • Report discrepancies and damages (e.g., airbag loads, FCA forms).
  • Detect/correct stock discrepancies between header/CBR components and consignment inventory.
  • Monitor component inventory levels in accordance with PFEP requirements.
  • Support cycle counts, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions for variances.
  • Maintain documentation for release activities, supplier communication, and deviations.
  • Organize and maintain customer reporting for first seats with new changes.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly CBR performance reports.
  • Maintain material check records, receiving error records, vendor changes, breakpoints, and MCR summaries.
  • Trace shipments, enter PTR/PTA in systems, and complete associated forms.
  • Order post‑model service materials when required.
Cross‑Functional Support & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, IT, Logistics, and Expediting on material issues.
  • Participate in process walks to identify risks at job stations.
  • Provide operational support during temporary change requests (TCRs).
  • Support department projects, data cleanup, and system improvement initiatives.
Compliance, Safety & Operational Excellence
  • Ensure adherence to IATF, customer‑specific requirements, and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace legislation (OHSA, WSIB, Employment Standards, Human Rights, etc.).
  • Follow plant health, safety, and environmental processes.
  • Use required PPE and report hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in investigations, 8D problem‑solving, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce inventory, improve accuracy, and enhance flow.
