Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance Testing and Monitoring, this role involves supporting WebBank’s compliance oversight of lending programs. The candidate will perform daily compliance testing activities related to WebBank and its strategic partners, including monitoring policies, procedures, loan practices, and disclosures for adherence to federal and state laws. Candidates in the Salt Lake City area are preferred.

You Will
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monitoring and testing of business practices, policies, loan origination software, marketing, customer communications, disclosures, etc., for compliance with applicable laws and WebBank standards.
  • Document evidence of testing and monitoring activities.
  • Assist in preparing reports on testing results and corrective action plans.
  • Support compliance-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes affecting consumer and commercial lending.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess impact of regulatory developments.
  • Participate in on-site reviews of strategic partners.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Refine compliance monitoring programs.
  • Review procedures and ensure partner compliance with regulations.
  • Perform various testing methods using Excel tools.
  • Update internal systems post-testing.
  • Share best practices based on trend analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years in regulatory compliance monitoring/testing, audit, or control in financial services.
  • Experience in banking or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state lending laws (e.g., Regulation Z, B, UDAAP, FDCPA).
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective at interfacing with all management levels.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, AAP, etc.).
  • CRCM designation.
