Job summary

Nwestco LLC in Fresno, CA is seeking dependable Compliance Helpers and Compliance Technicians to join our field team. Pay starts at $21/hr, with full benefits including PTO and a 401k; travel may be required.

The role involves testing and inspecting fuel systems at gas stations and commercial sites, following safety procedures around hazardous materials. We value mechanical aptitude, independence, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fuel systems at gas stations and commercial sites.
• Work on USTs, ASTs, piping sensors, leak detectors and tank monitors.
• Perform annual and required compliance testing.
• Check leak detection vapor recovery spill buckets and overfill systems.
• Complete reports and document test results.
• Help identify problems and work with service techs to get issues fixed.
• Maintain testing equipment and keep it job ready.
• Follow all safety procedures around fuel systems and hazardous materials.

Nwestco has been working in petroleum equipment and fuel systems for 25 years across the Northwest and Rockies. Were growing and looking for dependable Compliance Helpers and Compliance Technicians to join our Fresno team. If youve worked around fuel systems like being in the field and want steady work with a company that takes care of its people we want to talk. Pay starts at 21hr depending on experience. Full Benefits PTO 401k.

What Youll Be Doing

• Test and inspect fuel systems at gas stations and commercial sites.
• Work on USTs, ASTs, piping sensors, leak detectors and tank monitors.
• Perform annual and required compliance testing.
• Check leak detection vapor recovery spill buckets and overfill systems.
• Complete reports and document test results.
• Help identify problems and work with service techs to get issues fixed.
• Maintain testing equipment and keep it job ready.
• Follow all safety procedures around fuel systems and hazardous materials.

What Were Looking For

Certifications & Training

• For experienced technicians: API Safety, Franklin Forecourt Safety, Mastery Modules.
• Helpers will be expected to work toward certifications within the first 6 months including: ICC Service Tech, UTVapor Testing & Repair VTVapor Installation VIVeeder Root ATG.
• Other required California vapor testing certifications.

• Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco LLC.
• All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:
• Ability to pass pre employment physical with extensive lifting up to 75 lb twisting pulling kneeling and squatting.
• Ability to pass pre employment drug screening and background check.
• This position is classified as safety sensitive it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test including screening for marijuana as a condition of employment.
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
