Tanknology, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Field Technician to perform site assessments, leak testing, and equipment installations across the state and neighboring areas. You will travel extensively, work hands-on, and document results using TANCS software.

The role emphasizes safety, physical tasks, and strong communication with the Operations team. An apprenticeship path may lead to certification, with company-paid training opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Compliance Field Technician

Heavy Travel - You will be traveling throughout the state you reside in as well as border states.

Applicants must live within 60 minutes of advertised city to be considered.

Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As a Field Service Technician, you will learn through an apprenticeship style program until you are certified. In this role you will work on various job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs while using our proprietary software, TANCS, to record your findings.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct site assessments and surveys
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
• Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to the Operations team
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your company vehicle

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)
• Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Effective communication skills

• Customer Service Driven:Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
• Ability to travel across multiple states, occasionally staying overnight (hotel and generous per diem provided)
• A Strong Educational Foundation:High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background, physical, and MVR check.
