What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Monitor sites for regulatory and company policy compliance, conducting quarterly on-site reviews
  • Verify compliance with rules and regulations of various funding sources, Fair Housing standards, and company policies
  • Recommend corrective actions to resolve noncompliance and assist site managers in implementation
  • Provide compliance-related consultative services to site managers and administrative staff
  • Identify trends in noncompliance and recommend changes in policies, procedures, and training

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or housing regulatory agency
  • Experience with multi-regional property management is preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), or Tax Credit Specialist (TCS)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relevant to affordable multifamily housing development

  • Multi-regional property management experience
  • Additional certifications such as Site Compliance Specialist (SCS) or Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM)
