Compliance Specialist-Remote (Central Florida Based Candidates)

This is a remote role open to Central Florida-based candidates.

About the Role

The Compliance Specialist will assist with compliance activities under the supervision of the Compliance Supervisor. Responsibilities include monitoring collection and loan servicing activities, handling complaints, facilitating audits, updating policies and procedures, and managing licensing applications/renewals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor complaint handling processes and assist team members as needed.
  • Review team member calls and report violations.
  • Facilitate audits and provide supporting documentation.
  • Report non-conformities and analyze system data for KPIs and trends.
  • Research regulations and present findings to leadership.
  • Draft and revise policies, procedures, and consumer communications.
  • Track changes to forms, policies, and training materials.
  • Assist in training employees on regulations and procedures.
  • Support licensing efforts including applications and renewals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle regulatory/client demands.
  • Excellent follow-up and research skills.
  • Experience researching regulations and drafting policies.
  • Strong written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or College Diploma.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, UDAAP, FCRA.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in timeshare industry.
