Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a regulatory or compliance role is a plus; eCommerce or digital content experience preferred.
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and clearly communicating regulatory and compliance language.
• Sound judgment handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research laws and regulations tied to advertising, labeling, and selling consumer goods in interstate commerce, including FDA and EPA requirements.
• Open and manage cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve account and listing compliance issues.
• Draft Amazon appeals, Plans of Action, and supporting documentation, and submit to management for approval.
• Analyze federal and state legislation, regulations, and Amazon policy updates, translating them into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams and clients.
• Manage daily deliverables across multiple clients and categories, meeting accuracy, quality control, and brand standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal departments and clients on compliance-related questions.
• Partner with the brand management team and department managers to implement proactive compliance measures.
• Stay current on Amazon policy changes and regulatory requirements to keep skills sharp and guidance accurate.

Role: Compliance Specialist
Location: San Diego, CA 92101 (Onsite at Symphony Towers)
Compensation Range: $31–$35/hr ($64,480–$72,800 DOE)

What You'll Be Doing

What You Bring

Compensation Transparency
We've listed a broad hourly range of $31–$35/hr to account for varying levels of experience and skill sets. Where you land in the range will depend on how your background aligns with this role.
