Job summary

Ci-Dell Plastics in Mequon, WI is seeking a Compliance Specialist to build and advance our government compliance program. You will help shape our policy framework, support CMMC readiness, and implement processes that ensure regulatory alignment across FAR, DFARS, REACH, RoHS, and related standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Quality, Sales, IT, and Operations to document controls, conduct internal audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of compliance experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, government contracting, or a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of document control, quality systems, federal regulations, or CMMC is a plus—eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Quality Manager to build and strengthen the compliance program.
  • Support compliance with FAR, DFARS, CMMC, REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and related regulations.
  • Review customer contracts, complete proposal compliance documentation, and respond to customer requests.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and training to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct internal audits, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Own the document control system, including templates, forms, records retention, and cross-department management.
  • Work with Quality, Sales, IT, and Operations to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
4+ years of compliance experience

What You'll Do
  • Partner with our Quality Manager to build and strengthen our compliance program
  • Support compliance with federal contracting, aerospace, and manufacturing requirements, including FAR, DFARS, CMMC, REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and related regulations
  • Review customer contracts, complete proposal compliance documentation, and respond to customer requests through secure portals
  • Develop policies, procedures, and employee training that support compliance and continuous improvement
  • Conduct internal audits, identify risks, and recommend process improvements
  • Own our document control system, including version control, document templates, forms, records retention, and cross-department document management
  • Work closely with Quality, Sales, IT, and Operations to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of compliance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another regulated industry preferred
  • Knowledge of document control, quality systems, federal regulations, or CMMC is a plus-we're looking for someone eager to learn and grow
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and exceptional attention to detailStrong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check required for access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
