WVP is a highly acquisitive organization focused on continued growth and expansion into new markets and states. Following an acquisition, WVP partners with veterinary hospitals by providing proven non-clinical business support services, allowing our doctors and hospital teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

WVP is backed by Tyree & D'Angelo Partners (TDP), a Chicago-based private equity investment firm that partners with lower middle market businesses to drive long‑term growth and operational excellence.

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring our organization remains compliant with applicable regulations and internal policies. This position plays a key role in supporting our veterinary hospitals and corporate teams while helping foster a culture of integrity and accountability.

This is a hybrid position (2 days per week in-office) based in central Denver.

  • Assist with the setup and management of sales and use tax accounts for each veterinary location
  • Assist in preparation of applications and supporting documentation required to establish and maintain regulatory compliance for each veterinary location
  • Monitor current compliance filings and renewals for all existing locations, ensuring deadlines are met and information remains accurate and up to date
  • Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation to ensure key compliance procedures are clearly documented
  • Assist in researching multi‑state, county, and municipal regulatory and licensing requirements for new and pending veterinary locations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with compliance documentation, licensing, contracts, or other regulated business processes
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with multi‑state sales and use tax, business licensing, operational licensing, or other regulatory compliance is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions, and manage competing priorities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as a collaborative team member
  • Committed to delivering exceptional internal and external service
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and growth‑oriented environment
  • Must be located in or willing to commute to the greater Denver area
