Job summary

North Canyon Network of Care is seeking a Compliance and Risk Director to lead our enterprise-wide program. You will establish and sustain policies to prevent illegal or unethical conduct and oversee risk, ethics, and regulatory reporting.

You will partner with the CEO and Governing Board to drive actions that ensure robust compliance and risk management across the organization. The role requires healthcare compliance expertise, strong communication, and the ability to manage competing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a degree in compliance and risk management preferred.
  • Current certification in Healthcare Risk Management, or ability to obtain within two (2) years of hire.
  • Three (3) or more years of management experience in healthcare to understand operational, financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated compliance competencies, including CMS regulations, healthcare reform, accreditation standards, hospital and medical staff by-laws, and others.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
  • Presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment, manage a heavy workload, balance changing priorities and deadlines, balance NCMC needs, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with the principles of NCMC.
  • Ability and willingness to work long hours as needed to meet job requirements.
