General Job SummaryThe Compliance Risk and Control Testing Analyst works closely with the Senior Fair Lending and LOS Compliance Manager to monitor compliance with all mortgage-related federal and State regulations and the corporation's internal mortgage policies and procedures. The position focuses on identification of potential mortgage related compliance risk to the corporation to monitor, audit and report all compliance components of the mortgage loan.
Summary of Essential Job Functions- In conjunction with the Senior Fair Lending and LOS Compliance Manager, create, implement, and execute a defined Mortgage Compliance Risk System and a Mortgage Compliance Risk Assessment Plan.
- Works in conjunction with the LOS Administrator and Motivity Reporting teams in an ongoing capacity to optimize mortgage compliance reporting and monitoring.
- Creates proactive monitoring processes that identify risk and potential compliance concerns so that they may be addressed in timely and effectively.
- Executes an annual testing plan based on risk assessment results.
- Communicate testing results along with recommended solutions to the business and leadership.
- Track identified issues through closure.
- Identify and implement processes and systemic solutions to make the Compliance program more efficient and valuable.
- Develop and provide regular ongoing management reporting on mortgage risk and compliance related monitoring activities.
- Identify and analyze root cause of errors uncovered through risk monitoring activities. Make solution driven recommendations to prevent further occurrences to include developing processes or system improvements and/or training programs to mitigate or eliminate risks.
- Research and investigate potential solutions to enhance and make more efficient, the compliance oversight process.

Requirements
Education, Training and Work Experience- College Degree - preferably a bachelor's in business administration preferred.
- 8+ years Mortgage Originations Operations industry experience highly preferred (i.e., Closing, Processing, Underwriting, etc.).
- Experience working in Encompass is preferred.
- 4+ years' recent Mortgage Compliance/Mortgage Risk Management experience with 2+ years' experience in a Senior position highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Maintain & foster positive relationships with business units.
- An ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently in order to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Efficient analytical and process improvement skills, with the ability to seek out and offer business-oriented solutions.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Courteous and professional communication in both oral & written expression.
- Respectful management of private and confidential information.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Working EnvironmentPrimary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at management's sole discretion. Employees may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employees may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.

The wage range for this role takes into consideration a wide range of factors including but not limited to the duties of the role, experience, location, and certificates and/or education.
