Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate or CRCM preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services compliance or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA, SCRA and other consumer regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to influence across the organization.
• Experience with internal controls, risk assessments, and regulatory implementation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the corporate compliance SME for assigned lines of business and regulations.
• Provide second line of defense oversight and monitoring of processes and controls.
• Document testing results in concise management reports and escalate significant risks.
• Review policies and procedures for consistency with current regulations.
• Educate and provide consultative advice on regulations and compliance topics.
• Provide independent review and challenge to business activities and projects.
• Ensure systems used by lines of business function in a compliant manner.
