Primary Job Title: Compliance/Regulatory Tester/ Compliance Examination Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)
Shift/Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Date Posted: 7/24/25
Employment Type: Contract (2 Months)
Salary Range: $70 – $80/hr

Job Description:

This role is similar to an internal audit function but focuses on testing specific regulatory requirements. The Compliance/Regulatory Tester will work closely with a member of the Compliance Examination team to execute testing objectives. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in auditing or testing and subject matter expertise in relevant exam regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of the U.S. Compliance Testing Plan to ensure adherence to federal and state laws and regulations

  • Collaborate with team members to develop, perform, and document risk-based test objectives

  • Execute assigned compliance testing reviews in accordance with the annual Compliance Testing Program

  • Evaluate key compliance controls and design effective testing strategies

  • Identify control weaknesses and root causes of compliance deficiencies

  • Conduct research to support findings and propose corrective actions

  • Prepare high-quality workpapers that support testing objectives and conclusions
