The attorney will advise on trade compliance, lead licensing strategies, and partner with diverse teams to embed regulatory requirements into products and operations, with compensation ranging from $200k to $250k plus bonus and equity.

Qualifications

  • J.D. and active U.S. bar membership.
  • 5+ years of legal experience in compliance, international regulatory, and cross-border business matters.
  • Prior Big Law experience required.
  • In-house experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience supporting highly regulated, computer hardware, or semiconductor industries preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business advice.
  • Strong judgment and commercial mindset.

Our client is a privately held AI Infrastructure company seeking a Compliance & Regulatory Counsel to provide legal support for global compliance (including trade compliance), international regulatory, and cross-border business matters. This role is expected to 4 days per week . Office is near San Jose.

Compensation

$200k to $250k base (depending on experience) + bonus + equity
