What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and implement standard policies, procedures, and best practices to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations
- Conduct state-specific legal research and monitor changes in requirements to mitigate risks and achieve compliance
- Support the collection of data for regulatory filings and coordinate compliance reports
- Create regulatory reporting and develop compliance communications
- Drive problem resolution for a business segment across the employer
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of experience in a regulatory, privacy, or compliance role within government, legal, healthcare, managed care, or health insurance environments
- 3+ years of experience in communicating complex information to various stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience working independently and researching state regulations
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
