Role: Coordinate compliance and support Project Management team, regulatory change initiatives, departmental action items, and ongoing Credit Union of America projects. Work alongside the Risk Manager, Compliance Officer, BSA Officer, department managers, business unit(s), and other stakeholders to support implementation of projects with regard to regulatory requirements, policy and procedure updates, system or vendor-related compliance initiatives, audit/exam corrective actions, and other departmental projects/CUA initiatives.
This position supports the organizational compliance framework by helping coordinate project deliverables, monitor timelines, document decisions, and maintain effective communication across applicable departments.
Essential Functions:
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience:Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal:Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
