Compliance Program Specialist Senior - Retail Compliance

As a Compliance Program Specialist Senior, you will be within the Risk, Change, Experience & Strategy team (RCES), supporting the 1st Line of Defense (1LOD) Retail Compliance office.

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

The Compliance Program Specialist Senior will be a compliance subject matter expert for the 1st Line of Defense, with experience in a regulatory compliance environment and knowledge of consumer protection regulations such as UDAAP, ECOA/Regulation B, Privacy Regulations, Regulation Z, and FCRA.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently to ensure tasks are completed.

Responsibilities Include

• Advising business partners on compliance requirements
• Assessing the effectiveness of procedures/controls from a compliance perspective
• Providing compliance support related to the implementation of new/enhanced products/services
• Advising on the resolution of compliance issues
• Reporting compliance program results/risks and communicating requirements to diverse audiences

Job Description

• Planning the execution of compliance programs to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper practices, and constructively challenging conclusions or the status quo.
• Supporting business initiatives by analyzing data to identify compliance risks, providing resolutions, and escalating risks as needed. Evaluating the compliance impact on marketing, sales, product development, documentation, and other initiatives.
• Assessing activities for emerging risks, researching laws and regulations, and drafting or reviewing compliance manuals, policies, and procedures for alignment.
• Managing the compliance monitoring program, reviewing activities, and ensuring adherence to risk control limits. Leading compliance program objectives and communicating with business partners.
• Analyzing compliance reports, identifying issues, escalating as necessary, and recommending corrective actions. Updating or implementing reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
