Job description

Rapyd has unified payments, payouts and fintech on one worldwide platform, and we’re assembling the world’s best team to liberate global commerce. With offices in Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Singapore, Iceland, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and the U.S., the opportunities at Rapyd are limitless.

We believe in straight talk, quick decisions, strong execution and elegant solutions. Rapyd is where hard work pays off and careers take off. Join us and let’s build the future of fintech together.

We are seeking a hands‑on, experienced Senior Compliance Operations Analyst to join the Infrastructure & Modernization team – the team that owns Rapyd’s global projects and the automation of compliance operations. In this pivotal role, you will be the operational counterpart for Compliance, Risk, auditors and regulators: you will support audit and regulatory requests end‑to‑end, scheme registrations and reporting, lead cross‑company projects and build the AI‑based tools that make all of this faster. This is a role for someone who has sat on either side of an audit — facing external or regulatory auditors, or performing internal audit — who writes clearly, works well with people across the company, and wants to be part of a team rather than a lone expert.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross‑company compliance operations projects from requirements to hand‑over: migrations and new entities, merchant cleanup and offboarding waves, new onboarding flows and policy changes, working with Compliance, Risk, Data, R&D, Finance, Legal and the business.
  • Design, build and run AI agents and automations for Compliance Operations: define the flow with Product / R&D, test and QA outputs, draw conclusions, feed improvements back, and measure the hours saved.
  • Represent Compliance Operations towards Compliance leadership, auditors, regulators and card schemes on operational matters, and make recommendations on process and control changes.
  • Improve processes that touch Compliance Operations in other teams (Sales / RevOps ticket flows and SLAs, onboarding and TM hand‑offs, partner communications) through roundtables, training and procedures.
  • Support compliance with audit and regulatory examinations end‑to‑end: scope the request with Compliance, coordinate data pulls with Data, build evidence packs and data sets and drive remediation to closure.
  • Monitor performance through KPI dashboards (SLAs, backlog, volumes) and drive continuous improvement based on the data.
  • Design, build and run AI agents and automations for Compliance Operations.
  • A data‑driven approach, utilizing insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Monitor progress and measure performance through KPI dashboards , embrace ongoing improvements framework and support cross‑company processes and ad‑hoc tasks,
  • Promote a culture of proactivity, efficiency, innovation and continuous learning within the risk and compliance functions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised educational/academic institution.
  • 8+ years of experience in Compliance, Compliance Operations, Risk Operations, internal audit, Regulatory Compliance or FinCrime prevention with a strong preference for experience within a global Fintech or other regulated financial company, including at least 3 years in a role with ownership of audits, regulatory deliverables or cross‑functional programs.
  • Hands‑on audit experience: you have either worked directly with external / regulatory auditors (preparing evidence, data sets and written responses) or performed internal audit yourself.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating compliance processes and flows, and in leading cross‑functional projects to completion.
  • Proven track record of successfully modernising, enhancing, automating and documenting complex processes and workflows; hands‑on experience with AI / LLM tools (e.g., Claude) and with data tools (Excel / Looker) is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable translating operational needs into clear requirements and priorities for technical partners – experience working alongside Product, Data or R&D teams to define, test and roll out process changes or tools is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with card‑scheme rules and programmes (Visa / Mastercard registrations, high‑risk merchant programmes) – An advantage.
  • Written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences – including formal written correspondence with auditors and card schemes, and drafting procedures and policies – Must have.
  • A team player who is looking to be part of a team, share knowledge and back up colleagues – not a solo contributor.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment, including several parallel projects with hard regulatory and scheme deadlines.
  • Demonstrated creativity and self‑confidence in problem‑solving and proposing innovative solutions. Independency with a “can‑do” approach and a hunger to continuously improve and move forward.
  • Data‑oriented mindset with a strong analytical aptitude and tech‑savvy.

The position is located in Israel, but involves significant engagement with global teams and challenges, hence global experience is strongly required.
